But if you have a Model 80 with just the motherboard parallel and serial port, the Netgen -c should work. Be aware there is a bug with netware 2.1x for use with the Model 80s. When configuring a model 80 as a server for the first time, NETGEN will not recognize LPT1 as a printer when you need to configure printers. All you would get is COM1 as printer X as a choice. The work-around is to use the Model 80 (ver 1.02) reference disk and configure the parallel port as LPT2. Then run Netgen and the Netware installation routine will see LPT2 as LPT1 and allow you to configure it as network printer X. Then go back to the Model 80 reference diskette and ch change the parallel port BACK to LPT1. It works, I've had to use it. This info thanks to Kurt Mathison's crew... Good luck, Don V Wells American Red Cross NHQ Press for next or type CHOICES !
